Developers in Mainland China are demonstrating how heritage restoration and cutting-edge innovation can coexist, redefining urban and residential living. 

Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co Ltd, crowned Best Developer (Asia) as well as finalist in Best Mixed-Use Development and Best High-end Condo Development, exemplifies this blend with over 200 sustainable projects since 2019.

On the other hand, Jianfa Zichen by Jianfa Fangdichan Jituan, a finalist for Best Ultra Luxury Condo Development, redefines upscale living with contemporary elegance.

The project 1 Ki Lung Street by Lofter Group Limited in Hong Kong, winner of Best Connectivity Condo Development, as well as finalist for Best Condo Architectural Design and Best Condo Landscape Design, sets new standards in urban connectivity through innovative design. Meanwhile, the group’s 2C Boundary Street project earned a finalist spot for Best Condo Interior Design. Lofter Group, an Asia finalist for Best Boutique Developer, continues to shape the city’s skyline.

In Macau, heritage is celebrated through Hotel Central Macau by Lek Hang Group, winner of Best Heritage Development, and San Tung Fong Commercial Inn North Wing by New Orient Group, winner of Best Heritage Interior Design and finalist in Best Heritage Development. These projects blend cultural nostalgia with modern functionality.

Pano Harbour by China Resources Land (Overseas) Limited and Poly Property (Hong Kong) Co Limited, winner of Best Luxury Waterfront Condo Development and finalist for Best Condo Architectural Design, offers panoramic harbour views and a sleek aesthetic.

The Pavilia Forest by New World Development Company Limited and Far East Consortium International Limited, a finalist for Best Condo Development and Best Office Development, exemplifies innovative residential design. New World Development also stood out as an Asia finalist for Best Developer.  

Notable finalists included Lucky No 16 for Best Condo Architectural Design and Juli Road No 1 for Best Office Architectural Design by GAD Architecture, as well as interior design finalists Casa Rivera and Century of Cultural Collection by HWCD Design, showcasing China’s diverse architectural prowess.

Additionally, The Cendas by SEA Holdings Limited, a finalist for Best Office Architectural Design, emphasises modern, functional office design.

MixC Changchun by Lead8, winner of Best Retail Development and Best Mixed-Use Architectural Design, represents innovation in retail spaces, blending consumer experience with architectural excellence. Similarly, Alibaba Beijing Chaoyang Science & Technology Park by Jiang & Associates Creative Design, the winner for Best Mega-Scale Office Interior Design, exemplifies cutting-edge design tailored for large-scale corporate environments.

JLC by Hongkong Land, a finalist for Best Office Development, showcases modern office design, integrating sustainability with functionality. Likewise, SKP Chengdu by Sybarite, the winner for Best Retail Interior Design, redefines retail interiors with its innovative and luxurious approach to customer engagement.
