KEY TAKEAWAYS
When is the completion date of the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok?
The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok will be completed in 2028.
Where will the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok be built?
The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok will be built in the Thonglor area of Bangkok, Thailand.
Dubbed the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok, it marks the first of its kind in Asia. The aforementioned architectural project was undertaken in partnership with Ananda Development, and it follows Porsche Design’s other luxury residential buildings in Miami, USA, and Stuttgart, Germany.
Once completed by the end of 2028, the sleek-looking structure will feature a total of 22 exclusive duplex and quadplex units called “Sky Villas,” each with a floor space ranging from 525-1,135 square meters. Per the design firm, each residential space in the tower will host cutting-edge designs that are made to fit the “authentic passions” of its future residents.
The upcoming residential building appropriately includes the ultimate luxury garage since the company expects some of its future residents to own collections of cars. It will likewise have a meticulously designed spiral access ramp called “The Loop,” a facade with a fully automatic terrace door system inspired by the Porsche 911 Targa, and the “X-Frame” pedestal structure reminiscent of the German marque’s Mission R concept vehicle.
In total, the real estate project will have 21 stories and will be 95 meters tall. Topping the building will be an ornate lighting structure named “The Crown,” which was influenced by the headlamp designs on iconic Porsche vehicles.
Lastly, the luxury residential tower will be built at the Sukhumvit 38 in the Thonglor area of Bangkok City. The said location, as Porsche Design shared, is a vibrant area in close proximity to various amenities and lively attractions.
“I can’t await the opening of the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok, which will be the third Porsche Design real estate project globally and the first in Asia,” Porsche AG Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board Lutz Meschke said.
“This unique, exclusive approach to broaden the appeal to our most discerning customers by offering them exclusive experiences in all areas of life. The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is the next big thing for Porsche in Southeast Asia,” Meschke added.
As one can guess, the Sky Villas of the upcoming Porsche Design residential building won’t come cheap. The most affordable unit will be priced at $15 million, or around P800 hundred million at current exchange rates.
